This pack of ideas and information is a fantastic resource which will help schools and their students develop ideas of Global Citizenship with particular reference to water and its importance for all of us. The activities can help to fulfil your requirements for educating students in PSHE and Global Citizenship and can also play an active part in teaching students the importance of valuing natural resources.

Outline of Action Ethiopia’s Community Based Water Development Project – we may be able to arrange a school visit from our CEO (Piers Langdon) who was born in Ethiopia. He can talk to classes from experience and show slides to kick start your project. If you would like to be trained up as a school visitor for schools in your area, drop us a line or go to our volunteering page. - Ideas on the H2O Walk for Water - how to organise a walk at your school to raise both money and awareness about the use of water
- Facts & Figures - an introduction to worldwide water and why water is set to become such an important issue in all our futures.
- Posters - to display around school and so raise project awareness
- Lesson ideas – materials for both junior and secondary level lessons
- Ideas for other ways to raise funds – non uniform days etc.
- Contacts in Ethiopia – why not set up links with a school or a women’s group in Ethiopia then email or write to them?
