Building stronger communities

The project aims to increase household incomes and resource sustainability for poor forest-dependent communities (pop. 64,494) in Metema woreda, Ethiopia. This will be achieved by: strengthened participatory forest management; improved harvesting and preparation for sale of gums & incense; feasibility study into use of knowledge transfer technology.
